This campaign is all about finding businesses based in Australia who have WordPress websites that are hosted overseas. We will call them and offer them a deal to move their hosting to Australia.<\/p>\n

    1. This campaign is all about reaching out to say “for whatever reason I was looking at your website.”<\/li>\n

      1. The goal of this is to find websites that recently experienced an error. It is a difficult thing for people to fix if they are not website developers. It is SUPER EASY for us to fix.<\/li>\n
      2. Assume that most will be old business websites which are abandoned. So the majority will be Unsuitable.<\/li>\n
      3. If a website has no recent Web Archive scans, or if the recent scans also show the error, then mark it as Unsuitable, and move on.<\/li>\n
      4. The lottery is finding one that has a Web Archive scan within the last 3-6 months. The scan needs to be active, which means it shows a business website.<\/li>\n
      5. When you find one of these, mark it in the Shortlist, paste in the Web Archive link to the most recent active scan, and any contact details you can find.<\/li>\n
      6. The presence of easy phone number will contribute to your decision to put it into the Shortlist.<\/li>\n
      7. If in doubt, but it into the Shortlist. But keep a healthy skepticism. We’re looking for that magical moment that our Prospector found a 500 error very soon after the error began. Because if we call them quickly then they may still need help.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        1. I’m calling from MakeWeb, a Managed WordPress hosting service and web developer. When we come across a website that is broken and not loading on the internet, we are calling those businesses to offer our help.<\/li>\n
        2. We’ve noticed a critical WordPress (500) error\u00a0 on your website (and say the URL\/Name)<\/strong> and we can fix this for you easily.<\/li>\n

            Then you can add 3 different qualifiers<\/p>\n

            1. Keyword String: “\/?str=any-word”<\/p>\n

            2. List: “&list=netau”, or “&list=au” for .net.au or .au domains. (The default is .com.au domains)<\/p>\n

            3. Batch Size: “&batch=20” (or any number)<\/p>\n

            4. For example, https:\/\/api.makedev.com.au\/domains\/?str=marketing&list=netau&batch=33<\/a> will return all .net.au domains that contain the string “marketing” and arrange them in groups of 33.<\/p>\n
